Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Opis / profil firmy
Liverpool John Lennon Airport was formerly known as Speke Airport, and is located adjacent to the estuary of the River Mersey 12km south-east of the centre of Liverpool off the A561 (or junction 6 of the M62 or junction 12 of the M56)
In recent years Liverpool has been one of Europe's fastest growing airports, increasing its annual passenger numbers from 875,000 in 1998 to 4.96 million in 2006. Parking facilities, have been extended, but not kept pace with the increased demand so a new multi-storey car park, which will be able to hold 870 vehicles, is currently under construction. A new southern runway is also being added.
