OK, here is a story:
A time ago, I went on a date kindly organised by a friendly couple. Well, double date to be precise. She was taller than me, attractive and a little bit shy. I usually meet talkative, cheeky girls so; it was something new for a change. We started 8.30pm at the local posh pub. Had a good time for next 2 hrs then went to a local dive. Fortunately, they played quite good music, simply danceable. I showed some magic tricks, danced a few times, things started working out, the couple decided to leave us alone and evaporated. Thanx them for that.
However, here is another thing. I play football, usually 6-a-side but, unfortunately, it was 5-a-side that day. So after the match, some pints in the pub and 3 hrs of dancing I was pretty tired - I got grumpy. She tried to entertain me, carry on an intriguing conversation but I was significantly unresponsive. I reanimated myself with some red bulls, some glasses of orange juice - unfortunately nothing worked, at least not for long. Simply eccentric Prince Charming became a grumpy jerk. So, I just saw her home, kissed her cheek when she gave me her lips, said goodbye and went home.

Surprisingly next day I was told she'd felt insulted by my strange behaviour.
Jeez, any reason why? I was funny (at least she laughed at my funny jokes, at my not funny jokes, at me when I talked rubbish), naughty and definitely exhausted! A little bit of sympathy! Apparently, she felt rejected. It, actually, can't be true. I would do her a friendly favour but, unfortunately, I was running on empty...

And that's my point - How can she be offended?
I have really no clue why! Do you?
She should thank me really - what if she woke up next day morning with a lovely corpse decomposing next to her. That wouldn't be very amusing, I guess.

Anyway, that was the couple's fault, no doubts - they didn't want to delay the date. They had done it and 2 hrs later, I'd have been full of vigour. No, they simply wanted me to die of heart seizure.
Yep, it was a bloody conspiracy...
