If you haven’t heard of the UK trance label Free-Spirit by now, you soon will... the brainchild of Milan born label manager, Jay OM. Since the late ’80’s, Jay has spent years djing/promoting at some of the biggest clubs and trance festivals in London, the UK, and the rest of Europe. In 2004, he conceived the vision of a network of like-minded artists in the psy-trance and ambient genres, all working to promote themselves and each other under one banner and thus the Free-Spirit label was born... Originally intended to focus on artist management, the label’s skyrocketing success, combined with the enthusiasm of Jay, the artists, and fans, enabled Free-Spirit to outgrow its horizons. Free-Spirit continues to build a collective of artists and djs from the UK, Europe and worldwide, aiming to create and provide access to a combined set of resources not available to them as individuals, making it just a little easier for them all to concentrate on what they truly love, the music!
Free-Spirit burst headlong upon the global trance scene with their maiden compilation, "Brahamaputra" in October 2006, even attracting the attention of artists like previous voted 4 in DJ Mags TOP 100 DJs, Christopher Lawrence, who already is rocking Free-Spirit tracks on his own compilation releases. Although still in the label’s infancy, the lineup of artists on this smashing compilation speaks for itself... and now, already in the works is Free-Spirit’s sequel compilation to "Brahamaputra", “Eupsychia”, as well as M-Klome’s astounding first solo album release, and in the not too distant future, a debut rocker by Journey (aka Jay OM) himself. This label and these artists work hard to bring you albums that are guaranteed to stay fresh over many rotations and mixsets. In 2003 he studied Sound Engineering and Music Technology and began solo production under the name Journey, and in collaboration with Anton Petrov as Star~Trip. In 2009 Jay also started a new progressive project under the name OM.

In 2004, he conceived the vision of a network of like-minded artists in the psy-trance and ambient genres, all working to promote themselves and each other under one banner. Thus the Free-Spirit label was born... Originally intended to focus on artist management, the label's skyrocketing success combined with the enthusiasm of Jay, the artists, and fans enabled Free-Spirit to outgrow its horizons. Free-Spirit continues to build a collective of artists and djs from around the globe, aiming to create and provide access to a combined set of resources not available to them as individuals, making it just a little easier for all to concentrate on what they truly love, which is the music!

Free-Spirit Vol.1 "Brahamaputra", the debut release for Free-Spirit Records compiled by Jay OM, hit the shops in October 2006, featuring both a Journey and a Star~Trip track amongst others and Christopher Lawrence (ranked No. 4 DJ in the world) featured Journey's Spotless mind in his Top 10 in December 2006. Free-Spirit Vol.2 "Eupsychia" followed in June 2007 with 2 more tracks from Journey and Star~Trip and in 2008 a another 3 releases on Free-Spirit Vol.3 "Neophilia" and V/A Children of Jah (Revolve Magazine). 2009 saw the release of Journey's highly anticipated debut solo Album "The Man who Sold the Time" as well as further releases on various V/A Compilations on Mutagen, Antu, Solar Tech. Catalyst, Alchemy and Free-Spirit Records. Jay is currently working on his 2nd Journey solo album.

Today, Jay's reputation as an active, involved, and hard working individual in the global trance circuit precede him. His commitment and enthusiasm for trance music has left an indelible impression on the world scene already, and Jay's future has never looked brighter, from his burgeoningly successful record label to his organized events in the UK, to his upcoming solo releases. Jay works tirelessly at his art and trade and the music he brings to the masses exemplifies the fruits of his labour and energy.


DJ Sati - POL/UK

Sati has been playing in and around the UK scene for the past 4 years. Her styles vary between progressive & driving psytrance, minimal techno & chill out, sometimes mixing up many different genres in one set.

Sati has played alongside the likes of Infected Mushroom, Astrix, John OO Fleming, Juno Reactor, Tactic-Mind, Ultravoice, Journey, Braincell, Compressor, Zen Mechanics to name but a few. In venues such as “IndigO2"- London, "Brixton Academy"- London, “Luna”- Haifa, Israel, “Turnmills”- London," The Fridge"- London.

She is a full time resident of "Cohesion" @ Club 414 in Brixton, London, and promoter to “Oneness”.

In 2008 her psytrance took Sati to Lake Deczno in her homeland of Poland, where she was the only female artist to perform at the “Ramada” Festival and returned to Poland once again for the "Common" Festival on July 09.
The last two years have been very busy for Sati, playing for nearly all of London's underground sound systems and club parties. 2010 is already looking full on for Sati with dates filling up for all parties and festivals in the UK, France, Italy, Poland & Israel.

Sati has been Free-Spirit label DJ since March 2010.

DJ Prozak - UK/IL

Has been in and around London scene for the past 14 years and is undoubtedly one of the UK's finest Psychedelic DJs, with experience within dance music for nearly a decade now, Prozak has performed alongside most of the worlds largest and most respected DJ’s and live acts at events in countries such as the UK, France, Israel, Italy, Poland, Russia, Bulgaria, to name a few. He has rocked dance floors across the country with both full-on and progressive psychedelic sounds sometimes mixing up many different genres in one set. A true veteran of the psychedelic scene with an ear for tunes that clean one’s head and compel the body to dance, Prozak’s versatility, seamless mixing technique, and energetic track selection have combined to make him a crowd favourite. Smooth, yet crunchy, raw yet refined, psychedelicious and immensely satisfying. DJ Prozak produces engineers & re-mixes tracks & dj demos at his studio (LG4) in London. Productions are well under way now, and this year should see the secret production projects getting closer to being unleashed on the world.
