I am writing to respond to your email below.
I am sorry to hear about the recent burglary you experienced at your current property.
Unfortunately we are unable to consider you for an urgent move based on the information provided.
Unfortunately an isolated incident of Burglary at the address does not necessarily mean the property is unsafe for you to remain there, I can understand your concerns about remaining in the property and understand you may not be comfortable with regards to the intrusion on your privacy. However as advised earlier this will not change your position on the housing register.
With regards to the incident of violence towards your daughter can you please confirm where your daughter experienced violence? If it was inside your property then can you advise me who was the perpetrator and what actions have the police against them?
You may wish to put further security measures in place such as extra locks on windows and speak to the landlord and see if they are able to assist with the costs.
If you still feel uncomfortable at the property then you may wish to seek alternative private rented accommodation, I believe you are no longer in a fixed term tenancy and therefore are able to move out providing you serve the appropriate 28days notice. Please be advised you should not vacate your current property without securing alternative accommodation, if this happens and you present as homeless to the council you may be considered to be intentionally homeless.
Your areas of choice and types of property on the Housing Register appear to be restricted, please be aware the more restrictions you have on your housing application the longer the waiting time. You may wish to re-consider your areas of choice and widen your areas to reduce waiting time on the housing register.
I hope the above information clarifies the situation for the time being.
Z góry dziękuje
