M. Howard: "Polskie obozy koncentracyjne" (1)

Dear Mr Howard,

Recent press reports describing your appearance on BBC 4 “Desert Islands Discs” concentration camp, whilst your aunt survived.

Whilst your family have my every sympathy, if that quote is correct, coming from a serious politician, especially one of your backgrounds, it is totally unacceptable.
You above all should know that Auschwitz was a German concentration camp in occupied Poland. To describe it as anything else is historically incorrect as well as being grossly insulting to Poland, the Polish community here, to the many Polish servicemen who fought shoulder to shoulder with their British comrades against the Germans in WW II and especially to the few Polish survivors of those very same German Concentration camp.

On behalf of them all I expect you do your very best to repair the damage you have done and pain you have caused by issuing a correction and public apology through the very same media.
